Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Oak & Marble Stewardship LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as QuietListed ("QuietListed," "we," "us"), handles personal information in connection with quietlisted.com and the QuietListed report service. Our service is operated from Florida for users in the United States.

This policy addresses three groups separately, because we handle their information differently: website visitors, report buyers and prospective buyers, and individuals whose information appears in our business-intelligence datasets.

1. Website Visitors

Our website is a static informational site. It has no accounts, no forms, and no advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track visitors across other sites. Because we do not track, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals — there is nothing to turn off.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard server-log information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send and use it to respond to you.

2. Report Buyers and Prospective Buyers

What we collect. When you purchase a report or inquire, we collect your name and business entity, email address, billing address, your target county and vertical preferences and any exclusions you provide (including the "target county" field at checkout), your suppression list and feedback on delivered reports, our correspondence with you, and records of your orders and payments.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and is never received or stored by us; we see only billing details and payment status. Stripe's handling of your information is described in Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use it. To provide and deliver your report (as a PDF and CSV file emailed through Google Workspace), to bill you, to apply your suppression list, to improve our scoring and service using your feedback, to communicate with you, and to comply with law.

What we do not do. We do not sell buyer personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

3. Individuals in Our Datasets

QuietListed's service is business-acquisition intelligence: we identify small businesses whose owners may be nearing a transition. To do that, we compile information about businesses and their owner-operators from public records and publicly available sources, including:

The resulting records may include an owner's name, business affiliation and role, business contact information, entity dates and status, estimated age, business-activity signals, and scores we derive from these inputs. Fields such as estimated age and succession scores are statistical inferences, not verified facts.

How this information is used and disclosed. We license these records to paying buyers for one purpose: identifying and evaluating businesses they may seek to acquire, and conducting their own related outreach and diligence. Our purchase agreement prohibits using the data to build marketing lists, for any purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (such as decisions about credit, insurance, employment, or housing), to harass any person, or for resale. QuietListed is not a consumer reporting agency, and our deliverables are not consumer reports.

Your choices. If you are a business owner and prefer not to appear in our datasets, email frank@quietlisted.com with your name and business name. We will exclude you from future reports. We cannot retrieve reports already delivered, but our purchase agreement requires buyers to honor a request to stop contacting you.

4. When We Share Information

We share personal information only with: service providers that support the service (payment processing — Stripe; hosting — Cloudflare; email — Google, and Resend for the free-preview request form), which are permitted to use it only to provide their services to us; buyers, as described in Section 3; professional advisors (such as lawyers and accountants) under confidentiality obligations; parties as required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of QuietListed or others; and a successor in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business. We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention

We retain buyer records (order history and correspondence) for as long as needed for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. Dataset records are refreshed each time we compile a new report and retained while relevant to the markets we cover; suppression and exclusion requests are retained indefinitely so we can keep honoring them.

7. Children

Our website and service are directed to business users and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. United States Only

We operate from Florida and offer the service to United States users. If you access the site from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at quietlisted.com/privacy with a new "Last updated" date, and we will notify past buyers by email of material changes.
